Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre has millions of pounds of debts

Councillors are to be urged to extend a loan to the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) amid concerns for its future.
The AECC currently faces debts of about £28m and has a turnover of about £5m. It is being subsidised by Aberdeen City Council to the tune of £2m.
